James G. Wilcox, VMD:

Started the practice in 1969.
Graduated in 1968 from University of Pennsylvania

Works on both large and small animals but prefers cows. He is married to Bonnie. Has 3 sons all of which are married. Christopher, who works for Fort Dodge Animal Health, sells us vaccines and other small and larger animal supplies. Timothy, who is the Office Manager. Andrew, who has just graduated from vet school and started work at Laurel Hill Veterinary Service in June 2005.

Robert D. Fetterman, VMD:

He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990
Has worked for us since July 9, 2001

He does large animal calls ( cows, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, llamas and alpacas) and small animals (dogs, cats and the occasional rabbit). He is married and his wife’s name is Kathleen and has 2 children Edward and Daniel.

Andrew R. Wilcox, DVM:

Graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2005

Started working as a veterinarian June 13, 2005

Does both large and small animal, area of interest is large animal (bovine)

Is married to Susan and they have a son Ethan

They have a dog and 2 cats

Timothy Wilcox: Office Manager

Graduated from Mansfield University in 1998 with a BS in Biology and Minor in Chemistry

Started working full time May of 1998

Rachelle Shaffer: Veterinary Technician (Licensed):

Graduated from Johnson Technical Institute with an associate in science and passed the National Board exam to achieve her license. Has worked with us since May 1999. She takes x-rays, performs laboratory procedures, prepares animals for surgery, assists with appointments and surgeries, assists with equine farm calls, blood collection, dental cleanings, restrains animals, …. She is married to Jeremey. No kids only critters…2 dogs, 4 cats, 1 horse and many, many fish.

Heather Crane: Veterinary Assistant:

She has worked with us since April 2004. She assists with appointments and surgeries, goes on equine farm calls and assists the doctors with whatever they need, takes histories on patients, etc. Not married, single!! No kids only pets….5 horses, 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 4 goats, 1 cat, 2 snails, 5 fish.

Tanya Webster: Veterinary Assistant:

Tanya joined Laurel Hill in August of 2006. She assists with appointments and surgeries, goes on equine farm calls and assists the doctors with whatever they need, takes histories on patients, etc. She is a graduate of Delaware Valley College, Doylestown. Tanya is single and loves working with animals, this is her dream job. She has 5 horses, 4 cats, 1 dog, 4 ducks, and 1 rooster.

Nancy Pruyne: Head Receptionist:

Has worked with us since 1979

She answers phones, makes appointments, orders supplies and whatever else is needed.

Married for 37 years to John. She has 2 children who are both married. She has 6 grandchildren.

Suzette Bates: Receptionist:

Has worked with us since Sept. 15, 2004. She answers phones and schedules appointments, checks animals in and out, and greets people as they come in.

Married, husbands name is Jody. She has 1 child who is in high school.

Diane Plouse: House Keeping / Receptionist:

Has worked with us since July 1994. She cleans kennels, walks dogs, housekeeping, answer phones and schedules appointments. Not married. She has 3 daughters, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
